Soccer Game Recap: Brookwood vs. Thomasville

After flying high against the Echols County Wildcats last Monday, the Brookwood Warriors came back down to earth. Brookwood ended up on the wrong side of a rough 4-0 walloping at the hands of Thomasville on Wednesday. Brookwood has not had much luck with Thomasville recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Brookwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Thomasville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Brookwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Deerfield-Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on March 19th. As for Thomasville, they will head out on the road to challenge Carver at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Thomasville is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Georgia (they are ranked 120th, while Carver is ranked 378th).
