Warriors rally past Brooks County

The Brookwood Warriors held off Brooks County 51-49 Saturday night, improving to 3-1 on the season.
The Warriors led 28-20 at halftime, but Ahmad Sanders had 11 of his 14 points in the third quarter to give the Trojans a 38-33 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Brookwood went on an 11-0 run, and Sam Barnett’s 3-pointer from the corner put the Warriors up 50-42 with just over 2 minutes left.
Harrison Owens’ free throw gave Brookwood a 51-47 lead with 10 seconds.
Brooks County got a late layup but the Warriors, with the Trojans out oftimeouts, didn’t need
to inbound the ball.
Kurtis Brown led Brookwood with 11 points while Barnett, Owens and Jack Boltja each had 10 points.
Brookwood will visit Terrell Academy in Dawson tonight.
