Brookwood School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of Jessie Small ‘32, a fifth grade student who demonstrated exceptional spelling skills at multiple levels of competition this year.
Small ‘32 first claimed victory in Brookwood’s fifth grade spelling bee, earning a spot in the school wide competition alongside students from fifth through eighth grade. He then secured first place and the honor of representing Brookwood School at the Regional Spelling Bee in Macon, Georgia.
"Jessie's success is a testament to his diligence and passion for learning," said fifth grade teacher Delia Jackson. "We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and know this is just the beginning of his bright future."
Competing against top spellers from across the region, Jessie advanced to the finals of the Regional Spelling Bee, finishing in an impressive fifth place overall. His dedication and hard work throughout the competition season reflect his commitment to academic excellence and perseverance under pressure.
