Recently, students in the Lower School Art Club had an extra fuzzy day. Directed by Lower School art teacher Lindsey Bailey, the Lower School Art Club is a creative space for art enthusiasts and often hosts visiting artists.
This week, visiting artists from Fuzzy Goat brought hands-on learning to art club members. “Fuzzy Goat visited Lower School Art Club at Brookwood this week, and the students had a blast,” Bailey said. “Ms. Carolina taught them how to make tassels and pompoms, and told them all about the yarn they were using, which was made in India. As Art Club continues to grow, we hope to engage more community members in our creative experiences.”
Located in Thomasville, GA, Brookwood School is a private school for grades JK-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
