“They are part of the lasting legacy of Brookwood Schoo, and their contributions to the school and community continue that legacy,” said former Brookwood headmaster Tom Johnson, “They earned every inch of success. Their journeys were filled with early mornings, late afternoons, late nights and sacrifice. They have an unyielding work ethic and, if you saw them play, they became beacons of hope for young athletes.”

The evening kicked off with Johnson telling stories about each athlete, including when Drew Balfour rode his bike several miles to football practice to make sure he didn’t miss a work out, and Charles Allen playing a prank on the coaches.
